Jewellery
I create unique pieces of jewellery of two types: Sea Gems and Earth Gems.
Sea Gems are hand-made jewellery pieces created using genuine paua, mother of pearl or pink mussel shell, real pearls and stirling silver wire to create pendants and earrings. These delicate and light pieces carry the spirit of the sea with them.
Earth Gems are hand-made jewellery pieces created using semi precious crystal stones, wrapped with stirling silver wire to create pendants and earrings. These are not just attractive pieces, the stones also have vibrational healing qualities which enhance each piece.
Each piece of jewellery is an art piece of twisting and wrapping with the shell or stone being the central part of the creation. Occasionally I make pieces using copper or brass wire as well.
